Indigenous Arts Residency: Digital Constellations 2023

The Digital Constellations Residency supports the development and research phase of a digital media project wherein you can apply as an individual or with a collaborator.

The residency offers time and a supportive environment to focus on the early stages of development at the concept stage to research and for early stages of experimentation. The digital media project can intersect with a visual arts practice.

With guidance from faculty, our media production team and the support of visual arts facilitators, the goal is for you to create samples of work and develop your project throughout the program. You will also have the opportunity to share projects and network.

What Does the Program Offer

This program offers guidance of faculty, access to the Banff Centre media production team and spaces, and project support from visual arts facilitators. This residency also welcomes projects that intersect with media production and visual arts.

You will have access to a Glyde Hall Studio with support from visual arts, and 24-hour access to artist-run editing suites. The program also offers support from the media & production team and access to facilities.

We encourage you to utilize the Banff Centre Library and Archives for research and knowledge building.
