The 2019 Indspire Awards celebrates the outstanding achievements of twelve Indigenous Canadians whose stories of perseverance and commitment will be sure to engage and inspire us. Through music, dance, humour, and storytelling, the Indspire Awards will be a night to remember on Friday, February 22, 2019, in Calgary.

Indspire is in search of responsible and committed people to assist with organizing, coordinating, and setting up the production of the awards.

Production Associate Trainees (10 openings)

Wage: $14/per hour
Days/Hours: Orientation sessions date and times are to be determined (attendance mandatory)

Responsibilities

Chosen individuals will be placed into various production departments such as administration, hair/make-up/wardrobe and talent coordination, and will be responsible to report to their department throughout show week (February 18 to 22, 2019).

Work Experience & Skills

Administration: Creating charts/ photocopying/ setting up and striking the production office, filing, doing expense forms, printing, running errands and assist with disseminating information for the entire production.

Computer knowledge is an asset.

Talent Coordination: Excellent interpersonal skills are an asset for this position.

Hair/MU/Wardrobe: Run errands for the department and assist with organizing their schedule and materials required for the production.

Organizational skills are considered an asset for this position.

Trade Qualifications

None is required. However, experience in TV, film and/or theatre is a bonus.
