This is the first typesetting class Alberta Printmakers is offering on our Vandercook letterpress! Instructor: Michelle Wiebe Date: February 20 & 27, 2020 Time: 6:30 – 8:30pm (both evenings) Over two sessions, students will learn the basics of traditional typesetting using lead typeface and printing on a Vandercook press. Working collaboratively, the students will generate text on a common theme and print their handset creations to create a mini portfolio to take home.
