Intro to Silkscreen with instructor Ryan Statz Date: October 27, November 3 & 10, 2019 Times: 10:00am – 3:00pm (all three days) Students will gain an understanding of the basic history of silkscreen in contemporary art, the uses and applications of the silkscreen process including hand-cut stencils, photo emulsion, inking and pulling prints using multiple colours or how to create tonal values, how to create a print run and how to begin the process of silkscreen on their own.
