The Workshop
This workshop will introduce participants to the concept of theatre intimacy, its history, and its importance in professional and amateur settings. Participants will learn about community agreements, communication, consent and boundaries, exercises/partner practices, and care/closure/grounding techniques. All of these exercises and techniques are designed to increase ability to communicate boundaries and knowledge in order to advocate for yourself and others.
Take home slides/notes and resources will be provided for further learning.
Disclaimer: This workshop will not equip you with all tools necessary to be an Intimacy Director.
