Traffic Crew

Do you like a busy and exciting environment? Are you organized, friendly and fun? You might be just right for the ambassador and traffic crew!

Ambassadors assist the traffic crew in unloading buses of children who are visiting the festival. As traffic liaisons and ambassadors, you are the front line of the festival and will help set the tone for the rest of the day! Once everyone has been shuffled off the buses, ambassadors will help groups across the street and guide groups to the appropriate venue or activities. Adult volunteers are required to have a police check with the vulnerable sector check.

Although half-day shifts are available, we strongly encourage volunteers in these areas to sign up for both the morning and afternoon shifts where possible. A great deal of training goes into these areas and the stronger the volunteers, the safer and more efficient these areas will be.

Volunteers will receive one ticket voucher for a performance for each shift worked, as well as refreshments from our hospitality suite. Volunteers who sign up for a full day will also receive lunch.

To get involved or for questions, contact jli@calgarykidsfest.ca.

The deadline for volunteer applications is May 7, 2018.
