On Saturday, March 9, 2019, create your own original hand-painted silk shawl or blouse, as you learn the technique of silk textile painting from Cydney Mariel Galbraith, designer and founder of Loves Pure Light – Luxury Silks. This will make a beautiful gift if you can bear to part with it! Cydney will start with the basic French serti technique using guttas and resists. We will also explore freehand silk painting, splashing colours, using salt, and bringing forth a new found creative identity in all that attend. Believe it or not—the less experience, the better! You only need to have a passion for fashion and colours. Come ready to dream big and see your passion manifest through a luxury fashion shawl or garment.
