Educational Opportunities July 25, 2023 Layers of You Gelli Printmaking Workshop Layers of You, Gelli Printmaking Workshop Date: Tuesday, August 29, 2023Time: 6:30-8:30pmLocation: National AccessArts Centre (8038 Fairmount Drive SE) Come and create using a Gelli printmaking process. You will use a gel plate and acrylic paint to make mono-prints on paper. We will explore the layers of your life and personality through texture, colour, and shape. This expressive art therapy workshop will focus on the process of creating artwork that represents the many layers of you! You will learn basic Gelli printmaking techniques to create one-of-a-kind prints. Cost: $50, tickets available at eventbrite.ca. All supplies including Gelli plates, paper, paint, and other creative tools are included! Bring a paint shirt or apron to protect your clothes! This workshop will be facilitated by Kristen Powell. Kristen is a Master’s of Art Therapy student, professional artist, teacher, and certified yoga teacher. Her art practice is focused on creating sound wave art with alcohol inks.
