Archived April 28, 2022 Marketing Coordinator Music & Play is accepting applications for a full-time (30 hours/week) marketing coordinator. As a Canada Summer Jobs posting, this 8-week position starts May 16, 2022 and is open to those aged 15 – 30 (but more suited to older applicants in that range). If you have experience in music education, have high standards for music and arts education, and are able to reach people through innovative marketing, we want to hear from you. The marketing coordinator (MC) will support the Music & Play team and 2022-2023 enrolment through a strong focus on new/online media marketing and communications. The MC will have past marketing experience, past experience in music education/arts marketing, and, ideally, past music experience themselves. Within the job, the MC will: Analyze current marketing strategies and plans. Take a leadership role in the analysis/development of new media/online marketing strategies. Research competitive products and their approach to securing customers; identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases. Implement marketing and communications campaigns by preparing plans identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements for various strategies; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating lists, etc. Track and analyzing ROI from campaigns. Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data. Support the leadership team by providing sales data, current trends, forecasts, new product information, and customer requests. Accept ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
