Archived May 4, 2018 Meet the Pandas Family Concert and Banquet Gala Enjoy a day at the Calgary Zoo with Kung Fu Panda 3 erhu master Guo Gan and Calgary musician and music educator Ms. Jessica Yuen, and of course, you can visit the family of four giant pandas! Family concert banquet gala activities include creative young artist corner, panda photo booth, face painting by professional face painter and more! Master Guo Gan won the Ordre des Arts et des Lettre in 2016, and recorded the erhu parts for Kung Fu Panda 3 along with Hans Zimmerman and renowned Chinese pianist Lang Lang. Erhu is a Chinese two stringed violin, and he is one of the best erhuist currently performing more than 5,000 concerts in his lifetime. This is a ticketed private event.
