Archived April 8, 2022 Mural Opportunity for Indigenous Artists North Haven Community Association is accepting applications for a mural project in the community. The proposed site is a pedestrian tunnel linking North Haven with Nose Hill Park. We hope to hire an Indigenous artist to create a mural based on the themes of the Indigenous history of the Nose Hill area and the prairie landscape of the park. We are interested is seeing a wide variety of interpretations of this theme and encourage emerging artists to apply. The artist’s fee for the project is $11,000, and all paint and supplies will be provided by the community association.
