Professionalism pro·fes·sion·al·ism prəˈfeSHənlˌizəm noun the competence or skill expected of a professional. “the key to quality and efficiency is professionalism” A key element in presenting and selling art is professionalism if you want to be taken seriously, even as an emerging artist, how you present your work and yourself should top priority. In this workshop, you will add to your skillset in the business side of the industry, so that along with your amazing artwork, you will be prepared in the event you are called upon by a gallery to present or exhibit your work. What’s in your CV and how to present your self. We will touch on pricing your art, and will also cover information on taxes, with a couple of important key points in the business side of the art world. The workshop is open to everyone. It includes information booklet and handouts, and a critique of your work. Please bring along a sample of your ready artwork for a free critique.
