Canopy Studios is excited to be partnering with Sparrow Artspace to do the second annual See Me. Hear Me. Expressive Art Show, with two gallery locations + creative workshops + events.

All expressive art modalities welcome: Visual art, music, dance, drama, poetry.

We are looking for:
- Artists who wish to show and sell their work related to the theme Empathy.
- Expressive art facilitators who will run workshops that invite people to tap into their own creativity — bringing awareness of the healing power of the arts.
See me. Hear me. is a creative collaboration of artists sharing work relating to the theme empathy. The show not only features local artwork but also invites the community to attend workshops and events that bring awareness of the healing power of the arts.
Note: There is no cost to apply, however, for each piece included in the show, there will be a $10 participation fee plus 20 per cent commission on artwork sold and workshop fees. No commission taken on sales less than $100 or if proceeds are going to charity.
This year, there will be a youth category at Canopy Studios, so please pass along to any young artists who would like to display artwork relating to Empathy. The $10 participation fee will be waived for youth under 18 years of age.
