It is a powerful tool, designed to reinforce the student’s conceptual ability to create convincing volume, light effect, and color. As well, improve their ability to mix and apply oil paint in an effective and vibrant way. It is an ideal method to break down global effects of light, understand how to mix clear and accurate colours, and to serve as a guide for final paintings. The class is six weeks long and includes two class demonstrations by the instructor and four classes of open painting with one-on-one instruction. Recommended supplies listed on the website.
