PARK(ing) Day Grants

About PARK(ing) Day

PARK(ing) Day is an annual open-source global event where citizens, artists and designers collaborate to temporarily transform metered parking spaces into “PARK(ing)” spaces—temporary public spaces. The project aims to encourage critical thought and to spark our imaginations about how public spaces can be used.

We invite you to join us on September 20, 2019, for Calgary’s fourth annual PARK(ing) Day.

PARK(ing) Day grants now available! $1,000 each, eligible for individuals (eg., artists, students).

When applying please indicate if you would like to be considered.

Grant selections will be made by the jury, based on PARK(ing) stall designs.

PARK(ing) Day applications due August 14, 2019.

Grants administered by Alberta Association of Landscape Architects.
