We are currently recruiting for a full-time Patron Services Administrator for the Maclab Centre for the Performing Arts.

Reporting to the Theatre Coordinator, the Patron Services Administrator is responsible for coordination and smooth operation of the box office and front of house areas of the Maclab Centre for the Performing Arts before, during, and after events/performances.

Working collaboratively with the Maclab Centre for the Performing Arts Society and Volunteer Leduc, this position will provide a formal supervisory role to volunteers at events/performances with the goal of delivering outstanding patron experiences. As a part of the Maclab Centre team, this position will be required to take initiative in understanding the needs of superiors, peers, and external stakeholders; supporting the administrative and operational coordination of those needs. Making decisions even with conflicting or incomplete information while exhibiting well-balanced judgement in arriving at conclusions will be essential.

The Patron Services Administrator requires highly-developed interpersonal with exceptional verbal communications skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Volunteer management and supervisory experience is preferred, with experience in performing arts, events, and/or hospitality management considered an asset. This position must have effective time-management and work-prioritization ability in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma with post-secondary education, Diploma or Degree, in a related field is preferred. A minimum of two years’ experience working in a performing arts venue with demonstrated customer service focus. The ability to function in a computerized work environment including proficiency in MS Office and database software, ProServe knowledge would be an asset. Must have a valid Class 5 Drivers’ Licence. The successful candidate must provide a current criminal record check as part of the hiring process.

Term: Permanent, Full-time – 40 hours per week
Compensation: $51,597 — $64,446 per annum
