What Are Junk Journals? Junk journals are a combination of mixed media art and journaling. Sometimes our creativity is stifled or limited by the availability or cost of supplies. Testing out ideas on high-end canvas may not be possible either. Junk art journals allow you to take the pressure off and inspire play, creativity and even more routine in your practice! No prior experience required! We’d love it if you first joined us in BUILD series, but it is not a prerequisite, just bring a sketchbook to the PLAY workshop series. Play Dates Bring your (newly created or otherwise) junk journal and play! Learn alongside local creative facilitators on how to transform your journals. Facilitators will share step by step projects in each workshop. Details for each workshop in the registration link.
