Pandemic Recovery Program

The deadline for this opportunity has passed.

Since March 2020, Calgary Foundation has provided more than $7 million in support to over 200 qualified donees through the Pandemic Recovery Program.

Phase one of this program provided charities with short-term, emergency relief for things like transitioning programming to remote or online environments, accommodating staff and client safety, and planning for recovery.

As the city begins to reopen and needs in the charitable sector shift, the foundation is ready to launch phase two of the Pandemic Recovery Program.

During phase two, we will provide an additional $5 million in support toward establishing and activating community re-entry strategies, rebuilding community programs, and strengthening charities to provide high-quality charitable services to Calgarians.

Please join us virtually on September 14 or 28, 2020 to learn more about phase two of the Pandemic Recovery Program, in advance of the October 5, 2020 grant request deadline.
