Discover the New Central Library Public Art Program

On April 12, 2018, Calgary Municipal Land Corporation (CMLC) is pleased to introduce Calgary to New Central Library’s (NCL) new art installations, the artist, and the inspiration behind the work.

Meet the celebrated artist when he unveils the design for two art installations coming to Calgary’s New Central Library. The artist is known for large-scale, site-specific works that explore the synergies between architecture and sound, technology and moving image. During the event, he will talk about the inspiration behind the work he created for the library, as well as the design and fabrication process.

The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion with representatives from CMLC, The City of Calgary, and the Calgary Public Library.
