For more information visit joinscip.ca. Position Description Sled Island seeks an organized, efficient and detail-oriented individual for the position of Production Assistant. The Production Assistant will support Sled Island’s Festival Manager with logistics coordination for the festival’s numerous venues. Responsibilities: Create production documents including contact lists, advance sheets and venue schedules. Act as a point person between Sled Island and festival venues. Make recommendations to Festival Manager to improve coordination with festival venues. During the festival, visit venues on a daily basis to ensure correct display of signage and accuracy of schedules. Qualifications: Familiarity with Sled Island and local venues is an asset. Comfortable using Word, Excel, and Google Docs. Comfortable managing a large volume of information. Strong communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
