Sponsored by Mary Rozsa de Coquet, Rozsa Arts at the Library provides Calgarians with access to life-enriching arts and culture experiences while supporting emergent performing artists in building their brands and reaching new audiences. The program supports amateur/emerging performances at suburban libraries and professional performances at Central and Memorial Park Libraries. All performances are free and family-friendly. The program aligns with the library’s strategic goals of empowering the community by connecting patrons to ideas and experience, inspiration and thought. It lowers barriers to participation in the performing arts and supports the library as the preferred path for creative exploration, innovation and inspiration while enriching lives and realizing potentials.
