We’re having informal Saturday engagement sessions on Zoom. Anyone across the province can drop-in and say hi, ask questions, or just listen if you like. The next engagement session by Zoom takes place on November 14, 2020, from 1:00 to 2:30pm MDT with Samantha Williams-Chapelsky on social media and Chris W. Carson as host. Join visual artist Samantha Williams-Chapelsky for a forum on all things social media and building a career in the arts. As a full-time artist, Samantha has relied on tools such as Instagram, Facebook, and an active mailing list to build a non-traditional job. She will share some of her tricks to selling work online, building a presence on social media, and growing a mailing list through a variety of apps and other tools. This will be a question and answer style segment with a bit of a presentation mixed in! Samantha will answer questions and share her experiences working with social media as a visual artist.
