Shoot on Film

Have you wondered what it would be like to shoot a scene on actual motion picture film?

In this workshop, participants will learn the basics of exposure and camera operation with 16mm and Super 8mm cameras as they shoot a scene for a silent film.

Instructor: Philip Letourneau is a cinematographer who has had the pleasure of working on a variety of projects ranging from dramas and documentaries to corporate videos, commercials, and music videos. He has worked with several films and digital formats including Red, Alexa, and HD as well as 35mm, 16mm, and Super 8mm film over the years. He is a member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers and a long time member of the CSIF.
