Umbrella Talks 2020

The second session of Umbrella Talks 2020 is Should you get an MFA? taught by Marianne Elder. Marianne will be providing some insight towards obtaining a graduate degree in the arts. This session will address what graduate art programs are available in Canada and abroad, as well as tips on applying.

More About Marianne

Marianne Elder is an education consultant based in Calgary. She has developed plans and programming for organizations on curriculum design, strategic enrollment management, data analysis, leadership, change management, and strategic planning. Prior to consulting work, she was the Associate Vice President, Student Affairs and Registrar for eight years at the Alberta College of Art + Design. Marianne holds a master of fine arts degree in studio art from the University of California, Irvine.
