Date: Saturday, August 12, 2023 Time: 1 – 5pm MT Location: EMMEDIA Gallery & Production Society (#203, 2005B 10 Ave SW) Have you seen projection mapping in the world and are jonesing to get in on the fun? Whether it seems a little complicated to get started – or you’re just curious how it works – this introductory workshop will get you comfortable enough to begin projection mapping. SYWPMNW will walk you through some of the hoops of getting started: How to find the right projector for your idea Understanding your surface Multi-projector setup Then, jam all that information into a QLab 5 practical! Project footage onto a 3D object and feel like a magician.Participant Requirements: Computer with QLab 5 installed with Video License ($5/day rental).
