We are looking for a vibrant and energetic Intern to join our team at Humainologie. We are a Calgary charity and we have recently opened a gallery and store in Calgary’s 17th Avenue SW district and are excited about letting people know we’re here.

Your creativity, strong communication skills and ability to work with a team to implement a range of events will be critical elements of ensuring that we develop our presence and bring more people into our hub.

As part of your letter of interest, please provide two samples of copy that you would write for our #spreadempathyYYC Instagram page to promote a prospective special event at our venue. Please also highlight any experience you have in social justice initiatives, event planning, promotions, social media content development, and working with the public.

The intern reports to the Community Engagement and Special Events Manager and/or the Director, Operations.

Hours: Weekend availability is preferred. A minimum total of 150 hours of work is required to complete the internship.
Start Date: ASAP
Term: Three to four month term
Compensation: $2,250 upon completion of the term
