Call for Submissions December 7, 2022 Late Submissions for International Festival of Winter Cinema The International Festival of Winter Cinema (IFWC) is the world’s greatest outdoor winter film festival. We are now in our late submissions, which has a deadline of December 25, 2022. This means that it is the last opportunity to get a film featured at IFWC 2023! IFWC recognizes and celebrates local and international cinema with winter, alpine and polar themes of any style or genre. While we encourage all filmmakers with eligible films to submit their work, we especially encourage Indigenous peoples, immigrants, films about winter life, or those that address climate change. We aim to be the premier international juried and competitive film festival featuring unique perspectives and experiences presented through winter-themed cinema and audiovisual arts. IFWC will be running from February 10 – 19, 2023, in conjunction with Silver Skate. We are beyond excited to announce that we will be returning to Hawrelak Park, which will allow us to continue our unique environment, staying free to attend, and staying safe in the continuing COVID-19 situation. Films can be submitted by visiting filmfreeway.com. Files IFWC 2023 Late Submissions PDF
