Taking root in the community of Bridgeland under a flyover, this event is to reclaim an underutilized space. This social will grow something new from the beaten down space: an event that is wild and beautiful. We will transform this space with cut blossoms and wildflowers. In the setting sun, art will be paired with music, food and beer.

Artist Call

Take care of your plot by making it your own. Plots can be used to sell artwork, invite people to engage in art-making, to draw portraits, or make live artwork. We want to hear your ideas! Fees will be waived for art installations and/or art engagements.

Professional photographers will be on site posting on social media. We will give each artist a copy of the photos of their plot.

To Submit:

• Visit budsofbuds.com and download the application form.
• Complete the short form.
• Include examples of past work or sketch ideas for the exhibition.

Artwork: Attach to the email one to three JPG images. Submit via email to Katie Pearce at katie@budsofbuds.com.

Deadline: Submissions close at noon on June 16, 2018. Participants will be notified by email if they are accepted to participate in the event on or before June 19, 2018. Artists selection will be determined by availability and volume.

Set up: Set up is on July 18, 2018, starting at noon. Please come at noon to set up. The event runs from 4:00 to 10:00pm.

10’x10′ Plot: $35 (fees waived for art installations or art engagement plots)
Easel Rental (optional): $25 per easel (they hold multiple pieces)
