StoryBook Theatre is currently seeking teachers and teaching assistants for our theatre school PD day camps in Airdrie. We are looking for experienced drama teachers and professional artists to instruct children ages six to 12. Assistants will support instructors during all classes and performances/presentations. Operating Hours: Day/week camps run 8:00am – 5:00pm Location: The Elements Dance Co. (3109, 109 Gateway Dr. NE, Airdrie) Skills & Qualifications – Teachers: Bachelor’s degree in drama and/or education or equivalent professional experience. Minimum two years teaching or directing experience. Must have a passion for sharing theatre with young artists. Strong classroom management skills. High level of personal organization and planning. Strong interpersonal skills. Must work well in a team setting. Knowledge of technical theatre is an asset. Basic first aid is an asset. Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check.
