Archived March 8, 2018 Teachers Spring 2018 Term Stagecoach Theatre Arts Calgary provides quality part-time training in the performing arts for kids aged four to 15 years. Our aim is to nurture and develop young potential and confidence through singing, acting and dance classes in Calgary, stretching young imaginations and building confidence. Classes run every Saturday afternoon during the school term. Here are the positions we are looking to fill: Early Stages Teacher We are looking for an outgoing person who has experience in musical theatre and working with children aged four to 6. This person should possess strong singing/drama/dance fundamentals, and a passion for sharing your craft with the next generation of performers. They must have good storytelling skills, and be imaginative, honest, reliable, and professional. This position runs on Saturdays from 2:45 to 4:15pm. Acting Teacher We are looking for an outgoing person who has experience in theatre and working with children aged six to 15. This person should possess strong drama fundamentals and a passion for sharing your craft with the next generation of performers. The successful applicant must be comfortable in improv; blocking scenes; leading drama games, and doing character work with the students. Familiarity with Musical Theatre is an asset but not necessary. This position runs on Saturdays from 2:30 to 5:30pm. Singing Teacher We are looking for an outgoing person who has experience in musical theatre and working with children aged six to 15. This person should possess strong singing fundamentals and a passion for sharing your craft with the next generation of performers. The successful applicant must be comfortable in Vocal Music; teaching singing as a group/part singing/ harmonizing/and musical theatre with the students.
