A free, four-hour introductory workshop for emerging technicians who are looking to further their education in lighting. It will cover instrument identification, hanging, cabling and focusing, as well as introductory programming. Who Should Apply? This workshop is designed for those looking to expand into a new field of work and will serve as an introduction to the basics of working an LX call. Recent graduates of a college or university tech program, senior high-school students interested in pursuing lighting in theatre or live events, and established technicians looking to expand their skill set, are all welcome.
