Our vision for The Grand is a warm and welcoming one. Creating an atmosphere for innovation, ideation, and authenticity. It is one of parity across all forms of art, creativity and intellectual inquiry.

As Calgary’s contemporary performing arts and culture house and one of Western Canada’s oldest theatres, we will minimize social and economic barriers. Expanding opportunities for the community as we open our doors, honour our past, celebrate the present and embrace our future wholeheartedly.

This goes for our volunteers as well. The Grand is eagerly seeking to expand our volunteer community! And we would love to have you in our beautiful theatre. We have some excellent months ahead and we require ambassadors that love Calgary, the arts and are creatively curious.

When you volunteer at The Grand, you are:
