The Wind in the Willows

Untold Stories Theatre invites performers in Calgary and the surrounding area with all backgrounds and experience levels to audition for our musical production, The Wind in the Willows.

Directed by Jason Bakaas and Gad Gijon, presented live, in person at the Pumphouse Theatre, April 14 – 23, 2022.

About the Show

Based on Kenneth Grahame’s best-selling classic of children’s literature this riotous comedy follows Mole, Rat, Badger, and the impulsive Mr. Toad, whose insatiable need for speed lands him in serious trouble. Full of humor, wit, a gorgeous, soaring score, and heartwarming lessons of friendship, The Wind in the Willows is the perfect fit for audiences everywhere.

Audition Requirements

All auditioners are asked to prepare:

  • One ballad/lyrical song, 1 – 1:30 minutes long (musical theatre style)
  • One up-tempo song, 1 – 1:30 minutes long (musical theatre style)

Please visit untoldstoriestheatre.com to fill out an online audition form and choose an audition time on SignUp Genius by November 12, 2021.

Auditions take place:

  • Tuesday, November 16, 2021, 7:00 – 10:00pm
  • Thursday, November 18, 2021, 7:00 – 10:00pm
  • Sunday, November 21, 2021, 1:00 – 5:00pm

Auditions and callbacks will take place in person at the Parkdale Community Association. Face masks are mandatory within the rehearsal space.

As per compliance with the Restriction Exemption Program, proof of double vaccination will be required prior to auditioning in person.
