Job Opportunities April 14, 2023 Theatre Artists Trickster Theatre is looking for theatre artists interested in working with students in schools across Alberta. In our main artist-in-residency program, we embed a team of artists within a school to co-create an original show with up to 600 student actors in one week. Trickster is a a physical theatre company; our artists use a combination of movement, improvisation, and dialogue along with using everyday items such as bamboo poles, pool noodles, pvc pipes, tablecloths, etc to create original plays each week. Artists are involved in every aspect of the production and will learn how to integrate sound, lights, and tech cues into all of their pieces and become familiar with how to set up and run a touring theatre rig.
