Theatre School Production Team

StoryBook Theatre is currently seeking a director/acting coach, choreographer/dance coach, musical director/vocal coach, and stage manager for our 2018/19 Spotlight Production Program.

We are looking for experienced professional artists to guide children ages eight and 18 in staging productions of:

Into the Woods JR
Aladdin KIDS
Dr. Dolittle JR
101 Dalmatians KIDS

Rehearsal Hours

Into the Woods JR – Saturdays: September 8 to December 9 from 10:00am to 4:30pm
Aladdin KIDS – Sundays: September 9 to December 16 from 11:00am to 1:00pm
Dr. Dolittle JR – Saturdays: February 2 to May 26 from 10:00am to 4:30pm
101 Dalmatians KIDS – Sundays: February 24 to June 2 from 11:00am to 1:00pm

Skills & Qualifications
  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum two years teaching or directing experience
  • Must have a passion for sharing theatre with young artists.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • High level of personal organization and planning.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must work well in a team setting.
  • Knowledge of technical theatre is an asset.
  • Basic first aid is an asset.
  • Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check.
