StoryBook Theatre is currently seeking a director/acting coach, choreographer/dance coach, musical director/vocal coach, and stage manager for our 2018/19 Spotlight Production Program. We are looking for experienced professional artists to guide children ages eight and 18 in staging productions of: Into the Woods JR Aladdin KIDS Dr. Dolittle JR 101 Dalmatians KIDS Rehearsal Hours Into the Woods JR – Saturdays: September 8 to December 9 from 10:00am to 4:30pm Aladdin KIDS – Sundays: September 9 to December 16 from 11:00am to 1:00pm Dr. Dolittle JR – Saturdays: February 2 to May 26 from 10:00am to 4:30pm 101 Dalmatians KIDS – Sundays: February 24 to June 2 from 11:00am to 1:00pm *For a complete list of program dates and times, please visit our website at storybooktheatre.org. Skills & Qualifications Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. Minimum two years teaching or directing experience Must have a passion for sharing theatre with young artists. Strong classroom management skills. High level of personal organization and planning. Strong interpersonal skills. Must work well in a team setting. Knowledge of technical theatre is an asset. Basic first aid is an asset. Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check.
