Archived May 9, 2018 Uprooted: Rerooted Uprooted: Rerooted is a monthly gathering and professional development opportunity for artists of colour at all levels of experience to celebrate community, share knowledge and build networks. Join us for these free gatherings on the third Thursday of every month from May to October 2018, at Studio C. Each month will feature professional artists/speakers, a creative activity and opportunity to network and chat with fellow artists and art enthusiasts. Our first session is May 17, 2018, 6:00 to 8:00pm. The topic is Representation in the Arts. This is a community conversation about representation in the arts and why it matters. This is also an opportunity to have your work professionally photographed free of charge. The Treaty 7 Film Collective will be our featured presenting artists. Light snacks will be provided!
