Get a leap on spring and come learn in the open air of the most beautiful city in the Americas. Spend seven full days learning how to capture time and place in your sketchbook. Instructor Mark Vazquez-Mackay will teach you multiple drawing techniques while visiting a different beautiful site each day. The second half of the day will be spent visiting the vibrant and historical art scene of Guanajuato such as the house Diego Rivera grow up in. Also, we will be hosted by a local artist in their studio so they can share with us their practice. Each day will start with a casual/practical Spanish lesson delivered by Carmen Vazquez-Mackay. We will be staying in a gorgeous colonial hotel right in the heart of the city on the museum/gallery row.
