User-Interface Designer
ACTA Press is a Canadian company which actively publishes scientific and technological journals, and has been doing so for over 50 years. Today, ACTA Press is looking for new team members with expertise in User-Interface (UI) to help optimize UI for our web pages.
Position Responsibilities:
- Find the canvas best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication.
- Prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic elements either by hand or using software.
- Establish guidelines for other illustrators to streamline the production process.
- Comfortable being responsible for all user-experience based aspects of pertinent webpages.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; can articulate ideas with ease.
- Ability to create, test, and modify existing web pages considered a strong asset.
