Responsibilities: Be a positive and dynamic presence for VIVIANEART both in the gallery and in the greater arts community. Facilitate all shipping arrangements and logistics. Manage gallery website with past experience in WordPress. Oversee management of gallery inventory, client relations and social media. Grant and exhibition writing. Ideal Candidate: Completed a post-secondary program in art history, visual and/or media arts, museum studies or a related field. Demonstrates a solid knowledge of and a keen interest in contemporary art. Solid administrative skills and experience, ideally in the visual arts. Highly organized and self-motivated. Comfortable interacting with members of the public. Responsible, hardworking, enthusiastic and dynamic. Proven ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally. Competence and experience in sales is an asset. Salary commensurate with experience.
