Gallery Director

Responsibilities:
- Be a positive and dynamic presence for VIVIANEART both in the gallery and in the greater arts community.
- Facilitate all shipping arrangements and logistics.
- Manage gallery website with past experience in WordPress.
- Oversee management of gallery inventory, client relations and social media.
- Grant and exhibition writing.
Ideal Candidate:
- Completed a post-secondary program in art history, visual and/or media arts, museum studies or a related field.
- Demonstrates a solid knowledge of and a keen interest in contemporary art.
- Solid administrative skills and experience, ideally in the visual arts.
- Highly organized and self-motivated.
- Comfortable interacting with members of the public.
- Responsible, hardworking, enthusiastic and dynamic.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
- Competence and experience in sales is an asset.
Salary commensurate with experience.
