Volunteer Board Member
We are looking for a new volunteer board member to join our board in the role of secretary.
Responsibilities:
- Attend and take details minutes at all board meetings.
- File, maintain and distribute minutes and records as required.
- Provide administrative support to board members as needed.
- Ensure board actions and activities are carried out within the society’s bylaws.
- Drive the organization’s activities forward and ensure the vision and mission of the organization are executed and maintained.
Qualifications:
- A passion for arts and orchestral music is a must.
- Extremely organized, ability to keep the board on track during and between meetings.
Time Commitment: This is an administration heavy role. We are an administrative board meaning we do the work. This role is likely a 10 hour/month commitment to start.
The term is two years, after which time the member may stand for re-election.
