Social Media Coordinator

SpanicArts is currently seeking a creative and enthusiastic individual who is interested to be part of this vibrant and engaging artistic community.

The social media coordinator will use their communication and organization skills to create a plan and schedule SpanicArts’ social media posts for each month.

Will also work closely with the board members and artists from the community. The ideal candidate will require to thrive in an informal and team-focused environment. Individuals that are part of the Hispanic community or are inspired by Hispanic culture and art are encouraged to apply.

This role is a voluntary position and will provide the candidate with the opportunity to gain experience working in a non-profit organization focused on Hispanic art and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage SpanicArts’ Instagram and Facebook accounts.
  • Develop a monthly schedule for social media posts and make them public accordingly.
  • Reach out to our community of artists and ask them for information that they would like to share in SpanicArt’s social media accounts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience managing social media (Facebook and Instagram).
  • Artistic background (preferred).

We are looking for a minimum six-month commitment and four to five hours per week.
