Emma Knox, artist and educator at the Leighton Art Centre, invites you to join her for some fun with the combined arts of mask making and needle felted sculpture. In this workshop, you will explore the techniques of shaping wool into a 3D mask that will comfortably fit your face and will have you fitting in with all the other woodland creatures. Choose from among animals that have a snout such as a dog, wolf or a fox. When: September 15, 2018, 10:00am – 4:00pm Where: Leighton Art Centre (282027 144 St. West, Foothills AB) Cost: $80 pp (+ GST & Eventbrite fees) Audience This workshop is open to beginner felters, as well as more experienced felters who wish to broaden their experience with felt. The minimum age for this workshop is 10 years old. Parents, please be advised that this workshop requires the use of sharp needles. Safety procedures will be reviewed during the workshop.
