The Alexandra Centre Society’s Alexandra Dance Hall is located in an auxiliary building attached to the original sandstone building. We are minutes away from the downtown core, so we can offer a convenient central location.

The Alexandra Dance Hall offers a great venue for receptions, parties, meetings, company picnics, conferences, public events, seminars, performances, art shows, and celebrations for your business, family, or friends. It features a stage, WiFi, and a well-equipped kitchen area.

The Alexandra Dance Hall is handicap accessible. The hall is sound engineered by the Calgary Civic Symphony who call the Alexandra Dance Hall their home base. There is access to the Jack Long Park beside the building. We have high ceilings and large windows to add to the charm and ambiance of the hall, all watched over by our resident historic bison from the original Calgary Brewery!

We can accommodate approximately 150 people seated around tables and chairs, or 210 people seated theatre style, or 270 people with standing room only. The use of our tables and chairs are included with your rental.
