Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Jimena Odetti is a visual artist and art educator based in Calgary. Her work as an artist has been built up over time from a continuous process. This process privileges experience and the search for connections between desires, emotions, the expression of her subjectivity and dialogue with the material and pictorial language.

Colour, qualities of surfaces, and nature’s subtleties all serve as inspiration in Jimena’s visual communication.
