Val Lieske

Val Lieske

Val is a playwright, educator, performer, and spoken word artist. She is the founder and artistic director of Fire Exit Theatre and associate director of Ambrose Arts with Ambrose University. Val studied with Trinity Guild in the UK and is a member of the Playwrights’ Guild of Canada. She is an arts chaplain and advocate for the arts community in Calgary. Val has spent her life telling good stories.
