Multiple JUNO Award-winning act A Tribe Called Red (ATCR) ignites dance parties wherever they land with a fusion of hip hop, club-ready samples, and traditional pow-wow beats.

Bear Witness and 2oolman are among a new generation of Indigenous artists and activists making a strong cultural and social impact in Canada. Part of a week-long celebration of The Original New Timbral Orchestra (aka TONTO), ATCR are the first artists to use the synth in the creation of new music after years of restoration work.

See ATCR share its creative process and provide a taste of new music at this public workshop.

The workshop takes place at 12:00pm on November 15, 2018 at Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre (850 4th St. SE) and is included with admission. Details subject to change.
