Don’t miss this family favourite as Alberta Ballet once again stages its immensely popular production of Edmund Stripe’s Alice in Wonderland.

First premiered in 2006, this tumultuous adventure is a delight, both for the dancers to perform and for the audience to enjoy. Follow Alice’s adventure as she chases after the White Rabbit, teases Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, takes tea with the Hatter, and stands up to the Queen of Hearts.

For 2017, the 28 dancers of Alberta Ballet will be joined by 14 dancers from Alberta Ballet II and six students from the School of Alberta Ballet.

“Stripe’s interpretation pays respect to the timeless Lewis Carroll classic and beautifully renders the eccentricities of Wonderland’s characters,” says Alberta Ballet Artistic Director Jean Grand-Maitre, in a statement.

Alice in Wonderland runs March 16 to 18, 2017 at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium (1415 14th Ave. NW).
