An original adaptation of Faulkner’s As I Lay Dying, Theatre Smoth-Gilmour brings its powerhouse production to the 31st annual High Performance Rodeo.

A darkly comic tour-de-force, this southern gothic chronicles the Bundren family’s odyssey to bury their matriarch all while battling floods, fire, and private demons on their 40-mile funeral procession across Mississippi.

As I Lay Dying runs January 12 to 14, 2017 at the Victor Mitchell Theatre, Pumphouse Theatres (2140 Pumphouse Ave. SW) and is part of the High Performance Rodeo, running January 5 to February 2, 2017.
