Over a decade ago, the legendary singer/songwriter launched what is now known as The Cariboo Express. Featuring some of Canada’s finest roots and country musicians, his one-of-a-kind fundraising event has raised $1 million so far in cities throughout Western Canada in support of local charities including Classroom Champions. This year’s concert is the fourth annual tribute to the late Peter Burgener, one of Calgary’s most influential architects, community activists, philanthropists, and avid country music fans. A highly anticipated show like no other, a sense of community sits at the centre of this beloved annual concert.
