A musical celebration and a one-of-a-kind-event, Barney Bentall is hitching up the team as the annual Cariboo Express tour heads our way.

Each year this highly anticipated tour is unique and brings together a dozen or more of Canada’s finest roots and country musicians. A heartwarming, hilarious variety show featuring roots, country, and rock ‘n roll, there’s a defined sense of community at the centre of it all. The Cariboo Express is about laughter, storytelling, and the timeless sound of contemporary songwriters with great respect for tradition.

Performed by a roster of friends and guests including Ridley Bent, Dustin Bentall, Wendy Bird, Kendel Carson, Leeroy Stagger, and more, the evening is backed by The Gold Rush All Stars. Each song is performed by a different lead or collaboration and is introduced with a unique monologue scripted by Bentall and co-host Matt Masters.

A fundraising tour, this year’s recipient is Classroom Champions—a unique in-class mentoring program that connects Olympic and Paralympic athletes to more than 25,000 underserved students, and engaged thousands of families and communities across North America.

Catch Barney Bentall and The Cariboo Express at 7:30pm on November 3, 2017 at the Bella Concert Hall, Mount Royal University Conservatory (4825 Mount Royal Gate SW).
